Thursday...

Everyone has had another action packed and fun-filled day of activities with a variety of  including kayaking, tennis, high ropes, knee boarding and paint balling amongst other things. All of the boys have worked their way around all of the activities throughout the week and overcome many fears and challenges whilst developing some great new skills. Every evening has finished with a swim involving the rapids, cyclone ride, hot pools and wave pool, in which many of the public had a look of shock on their faces as at 7.10pm 100 boys descended on the pool area. Throughout the week and in all activities the boys have been fantastically well behaved with numerous other guests making some very positive comments about them.

Some of the highlights from today were Jamie Rushworth who got dizzy going around the knee boarding course as he set the record with 9 completed laps, whilst Elliott Pearce and Ollie Medhurst also performed brilliantly at this activity completing 6 full laps before falling off. Stephen Marshall had a fantastic day demonstrating superb perseverance and tenacity in overcoming his fear of heights in the Aerial Adventure. Mrs Bart-Williams identified her highlight as Stephen Butterworth during paint balling coming out like a warrior not bothering with using the cover provided as he took numerous bullets for his team getting covered from head to toe in paint!

During the paint balling this afternoon the man of the match award was given to Rohan Sood for his bravery/stupidity in standing and being pummelled by the opposition in a Mexican stand-off!

James Peacock - The highlight of my day was "the cable water ski because it was really good fun and fast which I found exhilarating"

Reece Levi - The best thing I did today was "bruising my eye on the rapids"

Mr Mullen - The highlight of my day was "paint balling as I was able to charge towards a group of children firing from the hip living my fantasy of being Rambo and then seeing Mr Appasany capturing the flag to win the game as well"

Rohan Sood - The highlight of my day has been "was shooting Mr Wheatley in the groin during paint balling which was even better as he was actually on my team!"

Mrs Maher - The highlight of her day was "the exhilarating experience of knee boarding which I had never done before"

Stephen Butterworth - The highlight of my day has been "was the swimming because it was a really relaxing end to an action packed day"

Mr Harris - The best bit of my day was "waking up to Rohan Sood and Henry Becerra cooking a full english breakfast for our villa"
